T'N'T Kennels has been raising Registered Alaskan Malamutes for over 36 years. Our first Mal, Tarneq was from a Glacier's Storm Kloud linebreeding. Tarneq was a remarkable and gentle boy. Over the years we have shared our lives with some very special Alaskan Malamutes. Today we enjoy sledding, backpacking, and hiking with our Mals. We retired a few years ago and decided to try showing our dogs. Since starting just over two years ago, we are proud to say that three mals from our Kennel have become Champions.
We breed our Malamutes to be gentle, intelligent, powerful dogs that can work tirelessly pulling a sled all day long. T'N'T Malamutes have the temperment, conformation and energy that is needed to be a true northern working dog, a trusted companion and friend and a successful show dog.

It is with great sadness that I write this. Tom and I are finally coming to terms with our recent loss of Katta. Our beautiful girl became suddenly ill three weeks ago. Her odessy began with her not eating her supper. This never happens and I mean never. Katta loved her food. Suddenly she was a very sad and sick girl. It was decided that I make the more than 3 hour trip with her to our vet. After a full set of blood tests and x-rays and the discovery of a large mass in her chest that had grown it would seem over the past 7 months, since we had done x-rays when she was pregnant with her last litter and nothing showed on those x-rays. After talking with the vet we decided to do an exploratory to make sure of the diagnosis. Before the surgery, Katta and I had a little visit. I told her what a wonderful Malamute she was how grateful we were to have her on our dogteam and what a super mom she was. When I think about her brown eyes looking up at me I now know that she was very tired and she new she was saying her final goodbye even if I did not know it at that moment. The surgery showed that the mass had taken most of her liver. Katta never woke from the surgery and was gently helped into a peaceful final sleep. There are exceptional dogs that cross our paths and we are fortunate to know. Katta was one of the best. She did everything that we asked of her with all of her heart. Thank you so much Katta these tears are for you.
